what style of header?

The AMG / Sebring style or the prone to cracking Supersprint style?

Supersprint mufflers aren't prone to cracking . . . they're prone to rusting. Their tubular headers tend to crack at the manifold flanges from engine vibration.

I'm talking about factory euro headers, factory us spec headers are diffrent then factory euro headers since smog emissions in europe have lower restrictions then US, which provide more flow and more HP.

Eh? The only difference, at least for the W201s in this forum is that some of the earlier exhaust manifolds didn't have the bung hole for the O2 sensor, but they weren't different . . . they were cast iron manifolds. Remus/Sebring made tubular headers for the AMG tuned W201s.

So, basically this thread does not really mean much for W201 owners.

That is a bit weird since I have a "Euro" header, there never was a NAm header made - matter of fact as pointed out by MTI the only difference is the Euro version did not have a cat attached just behind the collector. The Exhaust manifold on a NAm and a Euro are the same creature (8v), the 16v is the same for both also. The 2.3 are all 2into1/2into1 (both sides of the world) and the 2.6 are 3into1/2into1
