Smile 1991 190e 2.3 in the bay area

Hi all, I'm new at the forums, but looking forward to taking advantage of all of the services that they have to offer. I have read a few postings and have been impressed at how much info you can acquire from other members. I drive a 91 190e 2.3, I plan to turn it into an evoII replica. I also have a 2001 ml 320 which my wife drives. Anyways I'm looking for a evoII body kit but they're hard to find. Mercedes wants vin#'s and they're very expensive, I have amg wheels on the car right now, so next I would like do suspension work or get a body kit. I live in menlo park so I would like meet with other members that are also from the area. thanx

Evo II replica body kits are available. If you are technically qualified and equiped to cut metal fender wells, repair and blend fiberglass parts onto metal, pre-paint prep and painting, your DIY parts costs could be as low as $2-3K. If you have the work done professionally, the cost will be more likely in the $5-8K range.

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid that It would be that expensive. I'm not sure on wheather I can afford that at the time so I'll probably have to do some suspension work first. That I can do my self but I have never done any body work and I don't want to experiment with my car. Thanx for the info
