Okay, this seems to be a topic I have become paranoid about !
We hear horror stories of the 'shooting' wiper arm failing due to lack of lubrication on older Mercs and needing expensive replacement. Try getting one from a breakers yard - they are the very first things to go !
So, basically, I want to get mine nicely lubed while it still works properly and avoid the headaches.
How ? ? ?
I've even bought an inspection mirror to see around the back of the big lump at the pivot and cannot find out how the cover comes off.
I tried searching but can't find any other posts on this subject - which was quite a surprise !
Can anybody possibly help with instructions or a diagram, please ?
