Need Help Testing Fuel Pump for 190E('87)
I am new to this board but have been lurking for months now. The car was very dependable the last 18 years of its life but developed intermittent starting problem this summer.
Could someone explain to me how to test the fuel pump. I have a CIS Fuel Injection Gauge Kit that I used for my 911. However, my experience with the MB (W201) is very limited.
I noticed that the car has a better chance of starting when the weather is very cold like yesterday and today (frost on windshield). It might take a few try but better than any other time. My suspicion is either fuel accumulator, fuel pump, a leaking injector/s, or something I'm not aware. Thanks in advance.
