1991 190e 2.3 Engine Fans Always Running !!
I Have A 1991 190e 2.3 And The Engine Fans Are Always Running. Sometimes They Make A Clicking Sound And Go On/off On/off. As Soon As The Car Is Started The Fans Start. Sometimes They Even Start Up When The Key Is Turned Before Even The Engine Starts. Does Anyone Know What The Problem Could Be Or Where The Sensor Is Exactly Located And What The Name Of The Part Is ?? Please Include Pics Of The Location Of Part In The Engine And The Name Of Part.

it sounds like you have an electromagnetic fan coupling. this is turned on and off by a sensor located on the cylinder head. its a cheap part easy to replace. i have had this fault on two 190e's and both times it was the sensor
