Clutch Adjustment or Clutch Replacement?
I recently bought an '84 190D 5spd. I love the car, but the one thing I dislike is how the clutch engages at the VERY beginning of the pedal's travel. It's not correct and it makes it hard to modulate.
I noticed that it's a hydraulic clutch w/ no adjustment points. Is this true? The thought crossed my mind that the slave or MC could be weak, but usually that causes the opposite to happen (where you'd have to push the clutch all the way down for it to engage).
Otherwise, I think I might put a new clutch in it and see if that cures it. It has 170K and I wouldn't be surprise if this is the original clutch, so maybe it's just so worn down that it's affected the engagement point

What are your thoughts on my situation?
-Ben
