How fast have you gotten your 190E, and why?
133mph. I read it could do 139 stock, back in 93. Wanted to test it. It stopped at 133.

do you have a 2.6 or 2.3. What are you plannign on doing?
DONT PAINT THE GRILL BLACK on a white car. Leave some chrome. LOL I just did my whole gril black and now im going to strip it back to how it was. Its too much black out of place unless I paint the car black then it will awsome. I did a good job with it.
I also did the emblems on the back black those came out really nice too.

Since 95 and older cars don't need to do emmisions, I have removed the stock exhaust/catalytic converters. Did a straight back, and yes the car is 300x louder.
I am gonna be eventually swapping out the headers to some aftermarket ones.
I wanna reprogram/chip, some bigger brakes, some more engine tweaking, and possibly lowering it.

god luck post pics.
On the black one. Take off the whole grill assembly. Paint the whole thing black. Paint from walmart was about 3 dollars a can. It comes out really nice. and its easy to take the grill off. Il post a pic of my grill. Keep in mind it look ugly with the white car. But if I had a black one it would look mean.Ill post some pics tomorrow.
I bet its louder. Man, thats crazy. We dont have emissions in Florida either.
Ive found its hard to make the 190e fast. But let me know how it comes out?
Im looking into a c230kompressor. like a 2000. There really nice and faster. Ill keep the 190e as a drift car ocne I get these darn CV joint rebuilt. lol

cross drilled brakes, not vented just drilled, and some good pads. The last set of pads I had were amazing but when i took them off to put on these new oens I couldnt find a label. My new oens suck. autozone 25$ they fade really quick at 90+ and after a few harder then normal stops. They suck. My last brakes would do justice from 120 to 40 without fade. They were lovley.

I was actually looking at the grill assembly today, and I am gonna paint it black.
I don't expect it to be a beast, but I just wanted it to be slightly quicker.
If you do have a craze to make it quick, just throw on a turbo.
Drift car eh, better get a nice limited slip differential for that bad boy.

I drive a 2.5-16v that used to be a 2litre. Fastest so far was 190km/hr. Speed was climbing but I slowed down because my brakes and height was still the standard 2litre. But hell it was fun!!!! After brake upgrades and making the engine 100%, will try to go even faster and let you guys know!! Trying to make my car the Porsche of Mercedes! He he he he!!

How fast is that in MPH?
Brakes are a must. I wont even go over 90 now with the brakes I have because there ****ty from autozone for 25$. I just bought thme because I was starting to grind my rotors. So ill be getting new pads. I wish I knew who made my last pads. They were amazing.
Get cross drilled front and back and some nice pads. Pads do make a difference im finidng out.
I dont beelive in bigger brake rotors. IT makes sence, but look at the new Z06 the rotors are only like 4 inches. lol. there cross drilled and they stop very well. Dont get vented they shave the pad and you get less life unless your going to track the car, its not worth it. imo

Hi dude!
I think that's around 118mph.
Am aiming for the car to go on the track so I need to get the best that budget can buy. Aiming for the 500E.SL500 brakes later. At least 4 pot with cross drilled or something like that.
about a year ago I discovered how wimpy the brakes were. 1 pot and very small rotors!! Darn need to get new ones soon!

a track car on a budget usually isnt too safe. you want to be able to stop yourself when doing 100+ deceleration is just as important as aceleration when your going speed that fast. Saving a few dollars isnt worth totalling your car, or worse.
But good luck, take pics, ebay is a decent place for cheap parts. You might want to get with some poeple who do the 190e track car thing. They would be bale to help with maybe a non brand name part, that is the same part as another ya know?

You have a 2.6 straight 6 with stock, 157HP. You beat a supercharged V-8 at 120 mph? Im very impressed. I just raced a V-6 Tiberon with a K&N intake. Beat that. Second one of those. lol.

95 Bronco w/351 V8 & 2003 Mustang MACH 1
My '85 2.3-16v w/5-speed got up to 110 mph roughly. With the 17" EVO II wheels, the speedo is reading at least 5 mph slower than actual speed at 75mph. Couldn't push it much as the clutch was near its end. not bad for an orignal 85 clutch.
