The factory speakers for the later year cars are held into a plastic housing. Your best bet, since you will have to enlarge the opening to take the 6.5" speaker is to remove the hat rack. Remove the seat bottom, unbolt the back rest and unclip the hat rack from inside the trunk.
The speakers are held in place to the plastic holders by glue and need to be pryed out.
