got another one

i just got this car. i was going to use it as a parts car for my other 190, but it seems like this car is in much better shape. the tranny is no good. looks like the case broke right were the mount goes, so theres a hole and the tranny is sagging on the cross member.
looks like i will be using the other car as parts car. i would be converting it to manual as my other 190 is manual.
now for the pics.

the old one thats going to parted out.

btw once done, i
m debating on just selling the car as it is, or parting it out and junking the body.
i plan on taking the drivetrain, and back seats.

edit:
you can't see in the pic, but the old one looks like it had an accident on the rightside. as the paint is starting to flake off.

why did your paint fade? Was it because you didnt wash it often, or something else.

I was just wondering since, i have this paranoid thing where i think my car is gonna start its paint fading too.

i just got the car last year, and the paint have been the same way.
my guess, on the hood, is that the heat insulator is gone, so the paint bove the manifold cooked.
as far as the right side of the car, it looks like it had been repainted, and now the paint is starting to peel.

Let me know how the conversion goes, because I am debating on converting one of my 190s to manual.

sorry no pics,
but so far, i have both tranny pulled out, the pedals and lines have been swapped. i think its downhill from here. i should have it running by next week.\
the pedals and lines were really easy to swap. pedals are bolt on, and the line is pretty short. goes from master which is bolted on the pedal assembly in the car and the line is run inside the car straight down to the side of the tranny. and it uses the same resevour as the brake master. i cut the park neutral saftey switch wires and ran it to the clutch switch, rev. light wires were under the car, i just pulled it back in and ran it to the shifter for the switch.

Did anyone else notice the front right fender is a different color? Wrecked?

actualy the rf fender matches the rest of the car, but thats the only part that was not painted on that side. looks like someone T bones the car before. thats why i'm swapping over the parts to the other car, cause the other one has original paint and has not been wrecked before.

just finished the swap. everything pretty much bolted up. few things to point out.

the clutch starter switch and neutral safety switch is different. all i did was cut the wires and splice it to the clutch switch, but it only starts if your not stepping on the clutch, so i just eliminated the whole thing, (short the 2 wires together).
now the tranny mount was different too, and if you have a donor car, make sire to grab the cross memeber and the nut inserts inside the frame, they slide out.
you don't need to replace the brake master reserviour as all i did was cut the tip of the nipple and it supplies fluid to the clutch master just fine.
rev. switch is simple, just cut the wires from the old a/t tranny switch and splice it to the switch on the shifter.
make sure to use manual drive shaft, they are longer.

i'll try to take pics of the car and post them soon.

i will shortly place this car on the market to either part out (most likely), or sell as a whole.
