So, I was driving by a "by here pay here" dealer and i see this black 2.3

Its looks pretty nice, so i look for price/year. I see a sticker "01" I almost feel out the car. I had to pull in and take a look. I open the door and check the stickers. Yep, its an 01 as the sticker reads. lol.

I then see the real sticker with vin and weight and all that, I match up the vin, its a 1990. I advised the dealer that hes selling a car that does not exist. He walked out and changed the stickers.

I thought this would be a funny storie.

The car btw ran like crap. He was selling it for 3k and it had vacuum leaks, hood release broken, transmission linkage needs adjusting, gas pedal had one hell of a delay in park. And when i put it in gear and hit the brake and gas to check motor mounts, its died. lol

I bet he would have bit on at 1500 cash which at that point all those minor fixes become obsolete.

Not ever for 1500 would i have bought that car. I was scared to even test drive it.
