84 190e sunroof headliner removal
my buddy has an 84 190e and im trying to help him get it off. we got the sunroof manually opened about an inch but i have no clue how to get the sunroof off exactly. i cant even find the clips. if anyone knows of a better way to explain this or where i can get pics it would be greatly appreciated.

Open an inch from the nut in the trunk. Pull the front of the panel down ther are 4 clips that will pop out. Then you need to roll the sun roof all the way open to pop it out the top the right way or if u cant get it out you will need to pull it down and risk bending it. Make it fast w/e u do. Then you will see 4 8mm bolts. two on each side of the sun roof skin. Take those out. Close the sun roof. Pop the sun roof out the top. Then look at your track rails on the side, they are probably broken. If you get that far reply here and i will guide you more.
