I have a problem with my AC. It seemed to have freon missing at first because the compressor would not engage but after adding some ... it began working. The problem is if I'm stuck in traffic the car will not cool. If I'm on the highway or moving for a period of time it cools. Any explanation for this?

 

Have your compressor checked, both for leaks and for proper clutch operation.
