I am thinking idle control valve, plug wires, 02 sensor, injectors, fuel filter?

your car starts in 2nd gear I beleive. So, its going to be slow off the line. or is this a new thing?
If its new maybe its a dirt spark plug or a wire going bad

Need some more info here please. Like miles, last time tun-up was done, if the right plugs were used, what the cap and rotor look like, what gas do you use(Octane), last time fuel filter was done, O2 sensor readings, mixture readings, status of OVP relay? These things need to be looked at.
