W201 with M103...Vacuum Help, please ???

I just finished machining/replacing the head on my 1993 190E 2.6L M103 engine. For the life of me, I cannot determine one of the vacuum connections, and the connector is not even identified on the emissions sticker diagram attached to the radiator support (for lack of the correct term)

The connection of interest is on the intake manifold, nearest to the #6 cylinder intake port. I also have an "identical" '89 and on that setup, the same connector goes directly to the tranny. But on n the 93, the tranny connection comes off of an array of vacuum switches fastened to the firewall behind the master cylinder ( as indicated by the aforementioned "sticker")

On the connector of interest, there is a "transparent " tube that is directed (via rubber conection) downward between the #5 and #6 intake ports. WHERE IS THIS LINE SUPPOSED TO BE CONNECTED TO ??? I neglected to mark the lines upon disassembly, since I thought the '89 could provide any missing info...No such luck !

I have scoured the W201 CD Manuals and cannot find a suitable explanation or diagram...If anyone can enlighten me, I'd be tremendously grateful and one step closer to eliminating my vacuum leak/rough idle issue.

Found it !

The second connection is to the vacuum control on the left side of the tranny. The original transmission connection I referred to was for the vacuum delay.

In reconnecting everything, replacing rubber connections and sealing with old-fashioned spit, the vacuum is up to a nearly respectable 15 in hg.

Engine now stumbles between idle and 1800 RPM, then all is well above. It did not do this before the cylinder head operation. My next guess would be leaking injector seals and maybe fouled-up injectors.
