Buying a 2.6L 190e with Cosworth Skirts/Bumpers or a real 2.3-16v.
Hi everyone,
I'm looking into a 19xx 2.6L with what appears to be the body of a 2.3-16v.
It's 120,000km and it's going for $3900 CDN. I'm not sure about the service records of yet, as I'm going to meet with the seller later this week.

It's either that or spend a little bit of cash for a real 2.3-16v with 166,000km for $5000 CDN.
This one has dual exhaust and it's a 5speed.
No rust on both cars and both seem to be in excellent body condition.
I also have a mechanic that will come with me to check out both cars and the service history.
With my current situation, I'd have to buy the car and store it for about 4 months as I have no space on my garage and driveway.
What do you guys think? What would you do? I'm leaning towards spending a bit more to get the Cosworth as I think it would hold it's value more than the 2.6L, but maintenance may be questionable.
Thanks!
