not sure where to post this
ok so i have an 86 190e 16 valve i have a sound system in the trunk and i usually prop up the medical box lid with something so the bass comes into the cabin. i have removed the box. i wan to hook something up a motor of some sort with a switch so i can open and close it by flipping a switch.
any ideas? thanks brian

ya i was looking into actuators i went to axe man surplus but they had nothing that small i bought a little 12v geared motor and some wood to make the arms with. how thick should the wire from the battery to switch to motor be like 16 gauge?

wow, really? You want a motorizes aid box top? just take the top off and re carpet with something that will allow the sound to pass thru. We talked about this in another post. i think it was the "read deck measurements" or something post.
