Squeaky Noisy Turning Left ?
Greetings 190 fans....
I have a 190 2.3 with 197K miles.
After hard rains here in Atlanta my car started making squeaky noises during slow turns to the left. I poked around the left wheel and didn't see anything amiss. A few other bits of info:
= The brakes are fine; no squeak when braking
= Its not the suspension as when I push up and down it doesn't squeak
Any ideas? I think these cars have zerkless steering fittings so I don't know if taking it to a lube shop would help...
Any "steer" would be welcome on this topic!

Most likely a ball joint fitting on the lower control arm. The front suspension, like the rear, is a series of rubber/metal joint, rods, dampers and mounts. It's a good idea to have all the suspension pieces at least examined once every couple of years.

Thanks MTI for the response
Over the weekend I ran into a huge rainstorm that I think dried out the control arm linkages. Even though they are sealed with the age of my vehicle Im not surprised that that I might get some water in there.
I took off the left front wheel over the weekend and sprayed penetrating lube on the linkages and inside the boots. That seemed to make the squeak go away.
Thanks for the tip!

If the sound seems to be coming from behind the glove box . . then it's the climate control's aspirator motor's bearing.
