Maintenance fun
I started to tear apart the front suspension and got to the point where I knew it was indeed the wheel bearing. Should I continue since I don't have new parts... sure why not. So I tear into the hub and destroy the seal. And guess what the dealership does not have in stock!!! Oh well.
So I had to order the parts online.
Today I tore apart the left front and that seal just popped out
well after I destroyed it. While the car is up in the air in the garage I am able to get to other things.
Tore apart the front passenger seat, cleaned and lube the frame and fixed the cushion.
Fun times, I truly enjoyed it.
The corollary of the rule is "You will never have the right tool at the right time."
Thing that sucks is I couldn't find any coupon codes when I ordered my parts, then yesterday I got an email from them for 15% off steering and suspension parts
Then all noises went away... for a day.
Now the F*****G noise is back

So I guess it is just normal

That was honest!. My 190 as great as she runs has these major issues:
Front struts and bushings completely shot=cheap lowering job
No dash lights/burned out rheostat=i use tom tom nav at night for speedo
Can't unlock from driver's side= go to the trunk
Every time I wash it I strip away the white paint a little=flat paint in fashion
I think Timex built this car?

I replaced the front struts a few years ago (my dealer price was cheaper then anything I found online, until I found a mild lowering kit
)Under first owners someone broke into the car and the drivers door tumbler was damaged. I replaced it several years ago, but it still would not disarm the alarm. I fixed that a few weeks ago. So now I think all three locks work, though the trunk might still have issues (going back to when it completely froze).
My dash lights went out. I just had to pull the cluster and solder a connecter on the back of it.
Need to wash, clean, polish, wax my car in the next few weeks.
Two years ago I spent over $500 on cleaning equipment for it

Just replaced the third brake light with LED unit from 05 S class.
Just replaced speakers and headunit.
Just replaced trans cooling lines.
Just cleaned out throttle body, it was sticking

Just cleaned out and lubed pass seat tracks, and fixed cushion placement.
Still need to do drivers.
Issues still needing help.
Rear main seal.
Trans pan seal leaking... again

Air filter housing falling apart
Heater stuck on (temp fix is working, but A/C out of only center vents does not 120 degree beat)
There is much more... always.
