My entire exhaust system is probably the sole reason I still pass smog every few years. The gasses escape well before the tailpipe as many small holes have invaded every inch of my exhaust from just past header/2.6l/ to the tail pipe. I would just like to lift it up at my friends shop amd re-do all of it using a standard muffler without the resonator. Feedback anyone?

I replaced my cats and resonator sevenish years ago in my garage, just using ramps, no need to raise it up in the air
Mine had holes right in front of the cat, sounded great esp. above 4,000RPM.
Shouldn't be a problem, unless it will then cause you to fail.
