Respect for the 190E

I didn't know much about 190E till I saw that there are many mods out there and the styling is amazing.

Check out this bad boy.

Amazing styling: Yes
Many mods: If you want to drop in a V8 ok, but you can do that to almost any car. You can't do much with the engines that it came with.

While small in stature, the W201 has a long list of rennsport milestones. Starting with it being the chassis that Mercedes chose to return to circuit racing after the crash at LeMans; the 2.3-16 being selected for the "all star" race at the opening of the Nurburgring circuit in 1984, right through today where it is still being campaigned in classic rallye events.

have you forgotten about EFI conversion, the numerous turbo'd and supercharged 16vs, bunch of engine swaps to choose from including my favorite the AMG 3.6L m104 swap. and for suspension its near endless along with brake possibilities. And most of these mods are cheap parts you can find at a junkyard. the 201 is the most moddable mercedes that you actually "drive" (getrag is the only way to go)

I have looked a little for 190E mods, but have not found much that don't take tons of money or tons of work. Turbos and superchargers can be bolted onto any MB, other models would take engine swaps easier.
Compare 190E mods to E30 mods...

I don't know why but the old school benz look is always better than this new aerodynamic round ones.

I personally like the w202 better as well than the w203.

I neve rknew about the 190 Evo thanks
