electromagnetic fan question
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is correct for a 1992 190e 2.3 8v.
My auxiliary fan is triggered at 100C instead of the electromagnetic fan. Once the auxiliary fan comes on it cools the engine so that the electromagnetic fan never gets triggered. Looking at the schematic it looks like it should be the other way around but the wiring and temperature switches seem to be original.
I would really like to hear from someone else with a 1992 model since it looks like the wiring is different from year to year.
Thanks,
Keeping in mind that having the clutch driven fan running adds burden to the motor and reduces power and therefore makes the engine work harder to cool itself. The increased burden from running an eletric fan is minimal in comparison.

never let it get hotter than 100*c
