Can Someone Help?

mY 86 190E 2.3 WAS SMOKING OUT OF THE LIITLE VENT BY THE DOME LIGHT. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THAT VENT THING IS AND WHY IT WOULD BE POURING OUT GREY SMOKE?

Vent?

I think that the vent is an opening for your climate control sensor. It draws are in with a little pump behind the glovebox to measure the inside temp. You pump may have fried and sent smoke out the opening.
