Oel, Proper Weight?
SoCal or similar climate.
What weight are you using for your Baby 190E
Currently using Castrol GTX 10W30.
My MBZ wrench told me to use 15W50, seems a bit thick for a 4 banger

i had an issue of MBCA The Star a little while ago that had a great article on oil selection for older benz's. it detailed exactly what kind of oil you should use for different cars, depending on engine size and mileage. if i find it, ill scan it and upload it on here, unless someone else gets to it first. that issue also had a great write up on the 190e 16v.
