Anyone running 20-50W during the summer?
I also heard comments that you should run 5-30W all season as the oil comes up the cam towers quicker.
I changed the oil to 20-50W; seems to run quieter, a tad cooler on engine temps but much more overall oil pressure on my 1991 190E 2.3.
Just curious what others have heard out there...
If you don't have an owners manual (or shop manual)
modtech dot us/w201-mercedes-shop-manual dot html
use periods for the dots, and a copy of the w201 chassis service manual will also come along

Just put my 190E in the garage for winter maintenance.
I use hi zinc 20-50 in the summer, 30 in the winter.
Same as my Yamaha XS650
