crank but no start
I just did a tune up on my 16v and it doesn't want to start. I put everything on correctly and it started ,but when i blipped the throttle it just died on me and wouldn't fire up again. I put the old plugwires and the old rotor on and it still wont fire up. I checked for spark and its getting it at the distributor and not at the spark plug. I'm pretty confused as to what the problem is and i dont know what to do. I desperately need help right now as this is my daily at the moment!

Okay, you got a spark from the coil to cap, right?
But nothing from cap thru wires to plugs?
Hmm, check if the wires are fully seated on the cap, did you hear the CLICK on each plug on the cap. You see sometimes air is trapped in the plug and it will appear it is seat when it is not.
Place some di-electric grease on the terminals and re-place the plugs on the cap, use a small screw drive and release the air if any trapped inside then push down until your hear the click/s.
Also make certain the firing order and wires are placed in the correct location, it probably is but double check. I am leaning towards improperly seated plugs on the cap. Heck make sure the rotor is also in the correct position, I just helped a buddy do his 911 and he placed it in the wrong location, could not close the cap.
