Why the "quick decision?" Is the seller not giving you time to have the car checked out by a good MB mechanic? With a 10-11 year old car, you'll want to see the service records. What's the mileage? How are you at inspecting suspension systems, a/c systems, checking for rust in door panels, trunk wells, and electrical systems? The 2.6L doesn't have any particular issues, but since the 6 cylinder is shoehorned into the engine bay, you'll want to be sure the cooling system is functioning well and given the slightly heavier front end, check the motor mounts.
