I am looking for a reliable independent mechanic for my 1991 190e in the Inland Empire cities - Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Upland, Riverside. I need to get the Fuel Injection system tuned. I replaced the fuel injectors (all new parts) which was a fairly easy job. But the engine is running rich and just needs the fuel injection system tuned the right way.

I know of a really good independent mechanic in Santa Monica but I am afraid to drive the car from Rancho Cucamonga to Santa Monica through the hellatious traffic and having the car die on me.

Please let me know - I would really appreciate it !!

Thread bump, adding a few IE indys:
S&S Inland Star in Highland. GREAT experience with them.
Inland Mercedes in Riverside. Very respected, but no personal experience.

Just happen upon this old thread, but I can positively endorse Inland Mercedes as a very honest repair shop. He saved me a lot of money with my recent accidentally hydro lock engine. Also he does A and B for half the cost of the dealership, clean shop and great work I highly recommend his services.
