Mercedes 190e 1991
190e electrical issues/dynamo
Hello

One day I was driving and suddenly the car shuts off. A guy pulls up with a multimeter and says its the alternator thats bad. He jumped my battery and I drove home. I checked the cables connected to the alternator and the small one just fell of. It broke right at the connector, so I bought a new connector ring thing and bolted it back on to the alternator. When I started the car every warning lights and the low fuel light came on. That has never happened, why did it happen now?
