Battery Indicator light
I have an interesting problem... My battery indicator light keeps going on and off. I had the alternator and battery charged checked and both seem to be running strong! It will go on when I drive for long periods of time in the heat, but the engine temperature remains around 80-90 even with the AC on. I tried driving with the A/C and radio both off, but the warning light still came on. What's the deal? Maybe just a loose wire when the radio and speakers were repaired? I was going to check the battery again with the volt meter with the light on, but it went off just as I pulled in the driveway. Is it a major problem or a loose connection?

Check all battery connections first. Then check to make sure all wiring on the alternator is tight as well. After that I would make sure all wiring in the fuse box is fine and all fuses are in good working order with no oxidation around the connection points. You can access the bottom of the fuse box that is under the hood from under the dash. Remove the knee bolster and look up, the bottom of the fuse box is there.
