Working on my w201 i cant figure out what these bolts do, why they are there and how the grommets should sit since the bolt interfare with the grommet?
there is a clamp which the bolt screw into but i dosent seem to hold anything. Same on both sides.
im talking about the rusty bolt above the brakeline. Pics from rear wheel
