I have a 190e from 1990 and one of the owners decided to seal the sun roof shut with silicone and i was wondering what sort of sun roof i have, if it is one that tilts or one that is moved back into the roof, thanks!
someone correct me if im wrong but 1990 they wen both ways. believe 87 and up. i guess sealing the sunroof is one way to stop a leak. if you look on youtube you will find a video how to manually move the sunroof. Your best option is to cut sealant out the best you can move it manually and clean out gutter drains. I am sure he sealed it as his motor stopped working. im going to be getting rid of my sunroof, if you need parts and close to socal, your welcome to them.
