For a sway bar, I would recommend that you use OEM. It's worth the price. I would also suggest that you contact the MB Classic Center in Irvine, CA. They're extremely knowledgeable about your car and can answer many questions about it. As for using Mobil 1 synthetic, if the car has never before had it, I would not start now as much of the engine wear has already taken place. Synthetic oil is great for when a car is brand new as it'll protect the engine from engine wear at that point. The engine wear protection you'll get at this point for a car with many thousands of miles a;ready on it is pretty minimal. My father worked for Mobil and knew the man who originally developed Mobil 1. That's what my father always taught me. My 190E has only ever had Molbil 1 in it as I've owned it since it was brand new.

When I did a full refresh of the bushings on my 190, I used STRONGFLEX poly bushings, and they have an option on the website for the different size inner diameter sway bar bushings and they were correct when I got them... I don't know about the Powerflex brand but my Strongflex bushings worked...

Hope this helps
