Fault Code 9 - EHA Current Faulty

I have a 1990 190E which suddenly began to start very poorly when cold. I have purchased a code reader and was checking the codes. The car starts but it takes several tries. The cold start valve works because the car will intitially fire up but quickly dies. It eventually sputters to life and will run once it the idels settles into its usual pattern. I let it warm up to get the X11 Duty Cycle and it was bouncing but hanging around the 10% range. I rechecked the pin 3 and the code was reading 9 flashes. The DTE in the manual I downloaded gives the meaning of 9 blinks of the LED as "EHA Current Faulty".

Thanks, I have already found that thread but it doesn't help since the tests were done with a non cat car. All the tests indicate no problem but the car will not start easily when cold and is cery sluggish once it is running. The duty cycle shows 10% which MB interprets as 90% which is very lean. I am leery about adjusting of the mixture screw or the EHA but I wonder if moving the EHA or FD to a richer setting might help enrich the mixture. I do have a set of pressure guages and the differential appears to be about 0.4 bar which is ideal according to what I have read. Thoughts on course of action appreciated.

You might also try emailing the MB Classic Center. I think they're working from home due to COVID but they're very knowledgeable about the 190. You can also view the following You Tube video for an overview on the KE-Jetronic fuel injection system, Search You Tube for MBCA and Pierre Hedary present KE-Jetronic fuel injection.
