Hi Laura, glad to see you've migrated over as well! Most of the W201 regulars have made it over here now.
This forum is was pretty quiet before we all came, hope to get it more active now.

Hey Laura, glad you made it! If you can post your problem here I'm sure many will reply.
If you had one of these qauges installed, I'm pretty sure you will see that your EHA current behaves normally at warm-up and drifts towards zero as the engine temp reaches 80c. And then in closed loop it will quickly drift towards +/- 20mA and then my guess is the ECU decides you have an O2 sensor problem, throws a code and centers the EHA to 0mA. At that point you are back to mechanical fuel injection without lambda optimization and because your lambda is properly adjusted it runs OK, not perfect but OK.
As I was saying in the top of this post, an installed EHA meter is a must in these 30+ year old cars. And the OBD-1 helps too of course.
- Cheers!

Finally got around to color coordinating the console gauges with the rest of the illumination. Swapped yellow LED's for the voltmeter/EHA current gauges and 355 helped me figure out that the Pioneer head units coloring is totally custom adjustable to match. Here are some photo's of the final set-up.

Looking great Dolucasi! Glad you were able to find the perfect color combo to match the Mercedes interior lighting. I'm going to try it on another friend's W124 which also has a Pioneer

I love the gauge payout. My late husband once installed an altitude gauge from one of our aircaft in my Volvo 240 but your gauges are much more practcal. I like the EHA meter. attached is a photo my grandson sent me of his radio installed in the 190E. I purchased it fr him because it looks correct in the dash although he was unhappy about the lack of bluetooth. It does appear to be sticking out a tad so I will inspect that as well when I next see the car.

That stereo certainly looks factory. Too bad it does not have blue tooth. Were gonna need to replace those cassette holders with some gauges!

My grandson is disappointed abot no bluetooth but I promised to buy him one of those gadgets that you plug into the cigar lighter than transmits to the radio.
