Hello -

Are there any significant differences between a 1984 and 1992 2.3 190e? I know the body cladding is different.
Parts availability ?
Are they as reliable as a newer model?
Any changes in the CIS system?

There are differences and I've lost track as to what they all are. I know that it's much more than the Sacco skirts. The facelifted cars began with the 1989 model year. You might try researching facelifted 190E/W201 online. You might also check with the MB Classic Center who'll also be a good resource on just what all of the differences are. Not as many of the facelifted cars were built so they're rarer than the earlier cars. The 190E in general was built like a baby tank so well cared for ones will be reliable.
