92 190E Looking for a Fuse box
Merry Christmas everyone
Looking for a fuse box. My headlights wont turn off with the car off, and I have found corrosion all over 4 and 5 fuse locations. Probably also my lights switch but not quite sure just yet. By the way Looking for one of those as well. Any help or guidance would be quite appreciated.

One does not hear about fusebox issues on the W201's very often. The car must have been in a moist area for a long time. Perhaps the cover is not seating properly and sealing with the weather stripping? I do not have one but tell us if it is easy take them out from the JY car. There are a couple of cars near me. They would be in fine shape out in here in California.

I just checked pricing for you. Seems they are $50 with pony tail harness at the JY's out here and on the east cost. Not cheap.

Oops, that was the San Jose North pick and pull, but it looks like both cars may have been sent to the crusher already. Wow, that was quick.

Regarding the fusebox, I would try cleaning the corrosion with CRC electrical contact cleaner first? It's worth a shot as I've seen videos of people cleaning corrosion off electronic modules

Indeed 355. You know that was one of the worst wrecked 190E I have seen in a while. And the airbag did not deploy. Clearly inoperable.
Hopefully the occupants faired OK.

Must have called a dozen plus junk yards, including ones for euro cars. I bought the CRC will spray into the switch and the fuse box to see if I can get things to work again and keep the lights from coming on again.

Well great news. After using the CRC on all connections, fuse box, and a wire brush all is now clean. Took about another 2 hrs putting everything back together and cleaning out alot of areas that collect my fall harvest from the trees it sits by. Reconnected the battery, all lights stayed off. Sweet. Checked all functions, except test drive all seem to be operating fine except, fog lights. They work, but when you switch from low.to high beam, left light goes out and fog lights stay on with right. But once you kill fogs, lights go to bright.

This is great! The high beams take a lot of current, about 8A each, so that fuse connector may still need cleaning. Hopefully someone did not upgrade the high beams to 150W as that will be 12A each. Measure the resistance on your high beams to make sure. I believe the 2 sides are on a different fuse so should be easy to isolate.
Because your car sits outside, you will probably need to more than just cleaning to protect from future corrosion. You may need to put some protective electrical gel on all those connections.
Also make sure the box is weather tight.

So sorry, I did a typo. Try www.adsitco.com. BTW, they advertise in the MBCA magazine, "The Star". I checked this link and it does work.

Installed 9004XV-2 Sylvania. One went out and actually got so stuck in there had to pry out the old ones. New ones state for High Beams and Low Beams are 45/65 with 12.8 Volts with Amp 3.5 to 5 amps

Those are fine. No issue there. If they were stuck like that, that maybe another sign of corrosion on the car.
