Based on your selling price range I would have put this car to fetch $120K-$130K assuming they can install the SLS back.
If the car had a working SLS, I can only imagine the seller thought it would be a good upgrade to get rid of it as a daily driver. Actually he said so.
Problem is these are not daily drivers. Good old 2.6-5sp makes a great daily driver. EVO-1 are good track cars but at that price it would make an expensive track car.
So they are collectors cars. And in that, originality is key as you say.
