Bought 190E yesterday. first MB

I recently bought this car.

Its a '92 2.6 Sportline with a 5spd. I didn't know to much about it, except that it ran well and I really liked it as soon as I saw it. Then I was looking at it and under the hood it says complies with canadian emmissions. So it must be a Canadian model. The carfax showed it was originally registared in Texas. I think the headlights are "euro lights" and bumpers, but am not sure.
Anyways I am very happy with the car, and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some info on a Canadian model or the sportline. Thanks.

Chris

Nice. The 2.6 Sportline is mechanically the same as any other 2.6 except that steering box has a lower ratio and the suspension is slightly lower than stock, roughly a half inch via different coil springs and larger sway bars. Cosmetically, it has the smaller steering wheel, leather sport seats and Sportline badges on the flanks and shifter.

You also have W202 wheels on that car. The original 8-holes were flatfaced (IE: no lip). The size of the wheel is probably the same 15x7.

Sweet. Thanks for the reply. So far I have only had a problem with the fog lights constantly blowing a fuse. I really am enjoying this car. Thanks again for the help. Hopefully in the future I can tastefully modify it.

I would check the foglamp bulbs, to see what wattage they are. If they are a higher wattage like 100w they will probably blow the fuse (thats what happened to mine).
