Question Pls, help with interior light question

Hi everyone,

I've posted before but seems no one has a definitive solution to my problem.

basically, my climate control, window switches and temp gauge lights do not work. the instrument lights, seat heater switches and gear selector lights work fine. I have checked all the fuses and they are all unbroken and transmit voltage from one end to the other.

I have removed the wood cover over the climate control, didn't see any serviceable parts, removed the panel under the steering wheel, removed the complete window switch console and still didn't see and light sockets or other wiring to indicate a burnt bulb?? I'm stumped. it really sucks in the evening when i can't see what I'm trying to adjust.

Any suggestions on where the climate control and window switches get there illumination from??

Thanks.

The climate control and window switches are not individually lit, but get their illumination from a fiber optic "wires" that lead to a light bulb. Either the fiber optic has fallen out or the bulb that illuminates them has burnt out, or both.

OK, that makes sense, but where would the bulb sending the illumination be located?? Is it tapped into the climate control and window switch fiber optics from a remote location?

There are two bulbs in the climate control push button unit, lighting up the left and right sides of the unit. To change them, you have to remove the unit from the console. The window switches are lit via fiber, connected to the shifter console illumination bulb, located at the top of the shifter opening.
