I have reviewed most of the W210 pics and I cannot for the life of me find one with chrome on the doors where the the doors meet. I saw a W210 today - is was a 02 model and the door trim was all chrome where most of our chasis have black door trim. This car was not "modded" as the driver was - lets just say "very conservative". I want to find out if there is a way to cover the OEM trim very much like you can the door handles, light rings, and other areas of the car.

 

They are Carlsson 1/12 replicas. The tires are a bit narrow. I'm replacing them soon.

 

Part: projectors from Lexus LS430, projector lens from acura TSX, Depo headlight, acura TL ballast, and lot of custom work.

Light output pretty much beat every car out there, I have no problem cover all 5-6 lanes of highway at night.

 

...ok and i though my 4 xenon lights were brite..... i now feel like crap. ::starts ordring parts::

 

 

I have decided to "retire" my 2001 W210 - it now has 70,000 original miles on it, and it will be parked/stored while I mod it out the way only a southern female can!! Proposed mods will be new headlights, 18's with chrome deep dish(don't want it to look like a male car) Chrome accents including single chrome exhausts, golden paint job in lieu of the current desert silver. I do not want to change my hood emblem - because I WANT to SEE Merce's symbol as I drive her..!! Interior will get new Nav (I currently have one Steve put in) with sirius capabilities if possible.

I will post before pictures of Merce' in her current boring desert silver skin, with with her stock wheels upon retirement, and of course pictures of her "rebirth". A local Tampa group will perform my exterior Mods - when I'm ready her "inner guts" can only be touched by Steve. (MBenzNL)

alex, i wish i bought you car sooo much more now. damn i never noticed the black roof, btw would you mind if i copyed your design, as in get somebody to do the custom widebody based off yours? honestly. if you say no i will not do it because i will be basicly ripping you off compleatly.

Good to hear from you guys! The fam. is great, bought another house and moved again (three time since I've talked to you guys) and I have a 7 month old baby girl now that is already spending all of my money, lol . Anyway, we have a family Cadi Escalade at the moment, my offroad/hunting Grand Cherokee and my company F250; no Benzo at the moment.

So, how are you guys and the fams. if you guys have started any??? If not, what the heck are you waiting for ! I hope all is well and keep in touch.

I might be thinking about another W210 very soon because I miss working on mine, lol. I would be looking for an '00+ E55 or E430 completely stock if anyone knows of anyone selling one.

Hey Papa Stone. Your car is fabulous! I just picked up my e430 last week and looking to do some upgrades soon with the rims and etc... Is it possible to ask you a few questions through e-mail or messenger regarding your mods done to the car?
