BTW, how wide are those 1/6's? If 9.5-10" what would be the required offset (I know, there's calculators around but they won't tell me much I could spare on the insides)? Did you have to roll the fenders? Sorry, too mnay questions

Anyway, I drive a lot and didn't want to go with a staggered set up so I went 8.5 all the way around. That way I can rotate my tires. The common offset is usually 35. No problem on the questions, that's what we're all in here for, offer and receive help...
Surely 8.5"s in the back ain't going to hold the road very well during an agressive takeoff?
I was offered a set of used 8.5/18" Brabus Mono IV's with spacer for approx. US$500 (after trade-in) today but was reluctant to go with those cos I thought the 8.5" wouldn't look as good in the back - I guess I was wrong. But I also didn't want to go with anything that will take away the simple forms of the E-class (much prefer one that're similar to your Carlssons or the AMG style III 5-spokes)

Benz, I might have one avail. in the next week or so for about a little over a grand. This is the real thing and not the aftermarket or fake ones that are being produced, like my friend is trying to do. This is authentic Carlsson. PM me if you're interested and I will let you know once I have posession of it...
!) when I swung full-lock a little too fast (and I'm already using 225's instead of the recommended 235's).My $0.02 worth.
