*** VRP Cams ***

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are down to our last 3 sets of these cams (I believe its 3 but it might be 2).

I am going to place another order for a second run.

I will leave the pricing at $3,200 shipped for anyone that is interested..

If we get 5 guys together, I'll drop the price to $3,000 shipped.

If we get 10 guys It'll be a sub $3,000 price but I am not sure exactly how much yet.. I need to talk to the manufacturer and see what pricing he will give me on this second run.

Please reply to this thread if you want a set of cams..

Here is what they look like:

Drives Slowly
A bump and a tentative yes but I have some other negotiations going on.

Nine more people are needed.

Victor promises low 11s to high 10s with cams only.

Dyno was done a long time ago... Back in October when Albert had the first set put in his car.

Below is the dyno chart... Green is stock pull.. Blue is VRP Cams.. No other changes to the car. Notice the major shift in mid-range between 3,500 and 5,000RPM.. There is 40rwtq difference and 30rwhp.

Other negotiations??? Hmmm... Maybe a set of heads to go along with the cams??? lol...

I think you made a slight error on the 1/4 mile times... I believe I said, they would give you high 9s to low 10s...

We are going to dyno the cams to check the values of the knock sensor and fuel sensor under full load.

*** 1 SET LEFT ***

Once this last one is sold, it will take 3 - 4 weeks to get another run made assuming the manufacturer has blanks available.

I will give first right of refusal to ROCK on this last set.. if he passes, then this is your last chance for a pair of these cams until I get the next production run delivered.

Please reply here and let me know if you are interested so I know how many to order.

Thanks!!

Victor,

Didn't get a clear answer from before but wanted to make sure. Will these VRP cams be a drop in (with no other modifications) to my current S8 setup?

Hey James,

The N/A motors have more piston to valve clearance than the Kompressor cars so in relation to the aggressiveness of the cams, YES, they will definitely clear and drop in..

If a regular W211 cam will drop into a W210 block then these cams will work.. unfortunately, i dont know enough about the W210 to know if the cams are swappable between both generations.

I was hoping someone with more experience in this area would chime in...

Cams!!!

When we went through the development of the grind , We had to look at what was in the market . I had to look at the piston Dish depth, squish bands , Block Deck Height. Our market target was then set to the AMG M-113 V-8 5.5 ,Kompressor, and N/A 11 to 1 motors. So The Answer is YES IT will Fit without any Issues. These Cams tend to like some small amount of additional Fuel, So it works perfectly, because our car engine are already slightly rich, in the upper RPM band. . Happy Hoildays From ___PTE___

No luck for the other lower compression ratio N/A M113's?? I'm refering to the W210, W202, etc..

From what I'm seeing you guys get in gains for a 3K or even sub 3K part there may be some interest to us older M113 guys. I almost want these more than headers but I know I should get the kleemann headers and down pipes first. The cams are worth the sound alone
