don't worry I ain't leaving you guys. The 32's just in the shop for warranty repair on abs module, TCU, and throttle position module. which I recommend everyone to have their cars checked if the mileage is fairly high. I have 90k on mine.

that's because steve ain't here yet. lol waiting for steve to get here...with my insert than i'll ring you up to help me.

it'll save me gas money when I need to use it plus new car for mom to zoom around in instead of driving my old beetle. just got the window tinted today. steering response's surprisingly accurate, but don't like much of the light weight feel of the steering and the heavy weight look of the car.

there's definitely couple things I will do. paint the sidemarker and take out the resonator.

None of us doubted that for even a second.

Ya know, they’re starting to look more appealing with each passing day. Nice color btw.

i like the rear quarter view to tell you the truth, but i still like the 203's softer line better.

oh yea, the resonator on this car is 2-in and 2-out with small pipes, so I'm thinking an X-pipe in it's place would be better than just two straight pipe. what's your take on it?

nah...no options. $2980 for stuff we don't need other than the NAV is if they had individual options I'd definitely look for one with just nav.

if you can get me one for $36k out the door I'll take one.

got it for being 5 seater. don't need a useless 2 seater. plus I think I'll be claustrophobic in the SLK. sat in one at the dealership. just can't take how small it is.

lots of people buy salvaged cars. there are companies out there that buy'em and fix'em and resale them and still make money and the car would drive and operate fine "usually"

no question, but the stupid car actually has the heated seats standard, but no sunshade.

same here. was looking at 335 as well, but even a 328i auto/sport still came out to be $36k OTD, so 335 was out of the question. C350's too good of a deal to pass.

Attempted to crawl under a W204 C350 at South Bay MB for a look-see at its underpinnings.
“Hey, what are you doing!?” was their salesman’s emphatic admonition. Didn’t have a chance to thoroughly check it out before being shushed away to sales office.

Because your resonator is a (perhaps pseudo?) X-pipe configuration, it’s probably prudent replicate its OE layout. MB does a pretty fair job of engineering their muffling systems to optimize output, as you’re already well aware. There have been many dynamometer and track tests that prove the worthiness of an exhaust crossover on dual exhaust-equipped V6/8’s. SAE documentation available upon request. They equalize the exhaust pulses’ restrictions downstream and therefore improve scavenging. They’ll also tend to smooth the frequencies apparent to the ear for a more pleasant tone - to the typical motorist.

http://www.burnsstainless.com/Crosso...rossovers.html

Increased midrange torque is undoubtedly their most important attribute. I’d respectfully suggest you incorporate MB’s design criteria while you’re increasing its aural pleasure, if at all possible.

thanks John, great input as usual

I will go with X-pipe setup if when it happens. will wait till after a thousand miles on it before making decision since the sound deadening material should burn off as the car as driven more and more. if it does not get a little throatier then I will make quick decision to the muffler shop.

it is an 08. wish there's bi-xenon tho, but there's not...

09 only had a $1000 off msrp thing going. 08 deal was too good to pass up.
