) is a little sad. The fact that there are only 7 guys from the east coast commited thus far is almost comical but actually kind of sad. What, these guys can't scrape up $100 and a tank of fuel for an afternoon of fun? Car poor? There are damn near as many guys traveling from Chicago and Michigan (803 miles from my doorstep to the track) than guys with a 100 mile or less trip to the track...crying shame.Like I have said all along, "There Are Do'ers And There Are Dreamers!" Have fun wathing from the sidelines everyone, the rest of us are gonna have a blast!

Just an FYI, I have talked to a guy who owns a transport company who said he will have a some enclosed trailers out that way for SEMA and can give a good rate if any of you west coast guys want to transport your car to MIR. If anyone is interested let me know and I will put you in contact with him. It would be cheaper if there was a single pickup point

Just an FYI, I have talked to a guy who owns a transport company who said he will have a some enclosed trailers out that way for SEMA and can give a good rate if any of you west coast guys want to transport your car to MIR. Like I said...Car poor! Not to be a d1ck, but if someone that lives on the east coast can't afford $104 dollars and a few bucks gas to drive to the track maybe they should not be driving AMG's in the first place, that is the definition of living beyond your means...aka car poor. I know the situation is different for guys coming from the midwest and especially the wester U.S, they are looking at expenses in the thousands of dollars to attend.
Now I am goingto sit and wait for all the negative backlash that is going to result from my 100% honest and true statement.

Ahmad, just goes to show you one thing, talk is cheap! I guess we all know who the real players are, don't we? I figured you would have a few people back out, but only 15 M-B's so far...embarassing. By the looks of it there are going to be more "other makes" in attendance than M-B's. I know it's a long trek for the west coast guys, but to only have one guy committed thus far (Rarfinancial) is a little sad.
