CLK Picture Thread (A Must Look!)

2000 CLK430
wheels are axis penta, 19 x 8.5 in front and 19 x 9.5 in rear. suspension is just eibach (i think) springs...nothing special, but it sits perfectly and rides well until i hit 60mph and then i get the shakes, need to get that fixed

Car sits good in the picture. As for the shake I have the same problem around those speeds some people say from warn out parts some say from wheel balance not being correct. I believe mines had a slight shake before the wheels so I will replace warn parts in the in the next month or so.

2001 CLK 430 w/5.4 swap, 2000 CLK430
A few, careful mods with the intent of retaining the original spirit:
- Wood steering wheel and shift knob (eBay)
- Non-smoker storage instead of ashtray (OEM)
- Daytime LED running lights (Ikea, modified)
- Removed badge on trunk lid (floss and polish)
- AMG pedals (eBay)
- Few brightwork accents:
- Red LEDs in mirror as ambient light (Fry's)
- LED bulbs in door lamps and glove box (eBay)
- Additional lights in trunk (OEM with LED bulbs)
- Cargo net (OEM for W210 wagon with custom mounting points)
- White side markers with chrome bulbs (eBay)
- Probably a dozen more minor improvements I do not recall right now...
And yes, I do love this ride

Is it allowed to put your car as wallpaper on my pc?
Man this is the most gorgeous car I have seen around. Its by far the most elegant modded car I have seen. I am looking for a CLK and if I get one, there is nothing else to do than make her just like yours...
(Can I mod a CLK 230 compressor just like this one?)
It is just perfection! Only I would debadge the BRABUS marker and the 'sticker' on the left. And put some other rims underneath it (never been into black rims. Your car is the first one who made me feel it is ok to have black rims...)

Ok Guys here's a few pic's of my 99 320. I just lowered it a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to clean it up a bit. It been real hot down here in AZ!
