My next steps is to replace all the bushings. You ever touch the steering box? I suspect that is where a lot of my play is coming from.

I believe there's some kind of way to adjust it and take out the slop. I ended up replacing it. My car had 140k when I got it and EVERYTHING was tired...so it all came out. It literally was almost brand-new underneath when I sold it.

Man that's reaching pretty far back, no clue. It was either done at Star Motor Werks in Costa Mesa or GTTechnik in Irvine (now defunct) along with most of the other PM and mod stuff. 2016-ish.

I'm in process of replacing bushings now. I did all rear traction bars 2 weeks ago, in the shop for front and rear bushings. After this, there isnt a piece of the suspension\steering that I havent touch other than steering box and pitman arm

Hi All,

Just thought ill share some pics of my recent purchase. got fed up with modern cars so found oldest ulez compliant V6 convertible.. Theres some story to the car, its been parked for last 7 to 10 years (cant exactly establish as evidence is different to the seller story) but has full service history, its in banging condition (aside for being parked up "tiny" things related to being parked for so long, like brakes, engine oil, seised fuel pump, old tyres, and probabloy few things ill discover soon Probably leak from rear main seal, also still feel some vibrations above 30 mph that come and go as they pleased... Please feel free to comment, let me know what you think..
