Update: AMGfan SL65 Build

They (C2Design) just put on the the new steering wheel and paddles. The wheel is great and the paddles feel tight and have a nice solid feeling/click when in use.

They are going to be ordering the new SL63 rear bumper/diffuser this week......just the bumper for now to determine fitment and any other parts needed from MB to make it fit. Pics to follow...

Also, they found the right carbon fiber material to match my interior so the Kenwood headunit bezel will match the rest of the interior (right now its alcantara). Pics to follow...

New DCT Motorsports steering wheel with OEM MB paddle shifters...

Canon EOS 40d...I'm terrible with it so it's all the camera. I've been trying to get proficient with it but life just seems to get in the way. Great camera!

Havoc...thanks for the kind words. I can't wait for the new SL63 rear! It should up the ante on the "sport" look......not to mention some other performance goodies in my plans.

steering wheel looks amazing. In fact the whole interior looks amazing. Love the look and give it a 10 out of 10.

if you don't mind me asking how much is a wheel like that? I'm doing my carbon interior now and that wheel would look so good.

Awesome Ride

Speed Doc...contact DCT Motorsports (www.dctms.com) and speak with Ivan. If you have problems getting him off the website #'s, PM me.

If you can part with your steering wheel for a couple of weeks, then you can ship it to them to build it out. If you can't spare your steering wheel, then I think you need them to find a steering wheel core (no air bag) that will match your vehicle then they can build it out to your spec.

I've bought 2 steering wheels (for the SL65) from them and possibly a third for the E55. I'm impressed with the quality of the work done on the steering wheel. esp. for the price point.

Speaking of your steering wheel, any update on the controls? Do your steering wheel buttons control your new head unit yet?

The black CF is the perfect combo for this car... beautifull. And I think black in the SL65 is pure magic...

WOW!! Absolutely Beautiful!

OT: Are your exhaust tips black? Did you powder coat or paint them? I am looking to do the same. If you can PM me with what you did, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
