DTB P-B-77.20/80 APR09 up to VIN A005500 sunroof shade slides open/close while braking or accelerating, the cause may be that the clamping force is too low. To resolve, the sliding shoes will be replaced.
P-B-32.50/79 MAY09 All 216 & 221 vehicles equipped with Active Body Control (code 487). Knocking noise from under the floor area when driving over bumps or stationary, the hydraulic lines will be inspected for proper routing. They must not contact the body and must be free of tension.

LI62.25-P-047124 JUL09 cracking noises from the area of the IC/firewall when cornering, during throttle lift-off and uneven roads, wax will be applied to spot welds.
LI91.10-P-047255 JUL09 dynamic seat (432) VIN A285851 up to A286075 crackling noise to lower area of backrest when sitting down or adjusting the backrest, clip to felt support of multicontour insert is touching the backrest shaft and will be removed.
LI54.65-P-047195 JUL09 reversing camera inoperative line can kink or break at the locations on the hinge and rear shelf in trunk and will be replaced.

Service Campaign 2009090005 OCT09 - MY10 horn may not actuate at all corners of the horn pad. Approximately 40 vehicles affected.
LI91.25-P-048132 OCT09 – VIN range A299864-A302080 multicontour seat fails during air release procedure, system becomes operational again after an ignition restart SCN coding will be performed to driver and passenger dynamic seat control unit.
LI42.45-P-047542 OCT09 – start abort or it may not be possible to start the engine when using Keyless Go, update ESP control unit software.
LI42.47-P-048216 OCT09 – “ESP Defective Service Required” with vehicle at stand still, ESP warning lamp flashes (yellow triangle) and transmission cannot be shifted out of park, vehicle can lock itself automatically and/or with ignition on and vehicle at standstill a speed of 160 MPH is displayed in the IC. Rpm sensors will be replaced and ESP control unit flashed.

LI82.10-P-048587 DEC09 as of model refinement up to production 11/09 rattling noise from front end, headlamps will be replaced -- self test; with the hood open with engine running and lights on, rock the suspension rattling is clearly audible from the headlamps.
LI42.10-P-048624 JAN10 – 221/216 except AMG rear wheel brakes squeal dealer will clean lining slots, replace pads and apply brake paste under warranty.

2007 S550
Is this brake problem apply only to the first 12 months or is it an additional bulletin to fix squeaking brakes during the 4 yr warranty? My dealer says it only applies to the 1st 12months and won't replace the pads. They also say that they aren't familar with the number LI42.10-P-O4862424 JAN10. Where did this bulletin come from?

Service Campaign 2010020001 FEB10 massage function of the front seats may not have been coded to specification in seat control modules, software calibration number (SCN) update to left & right dynamic multicontour seat control modules will correct this condition. Approximately 63 vehicles are affected.

LI54.10-P-049241 MAR10 – 221 Hybrid start/stop function the engine starts up again automatically after vehicle comes to a complete stop and/or charge level is insufficient ground line between the DC/DC converter is inadequate.
LI54.10-P-049295 MAR10 – 221 Hybrid will not start, if battery drops below 7V for longer than 5 seconds monitoring function logs various fault codes which prevent the engine from starting.

One Button Push To Open and Close The Sunroof
I know when I had my BMW 750LI, I could push the sunroof button once to open or close it, but on my S550 I can push button once to open it and in order to close it I have to hold the button. I don't know if this is a true issue or not, I may just need to get it reprogram? Does any one else have this same issue?

I think I had this issue after picking my '07 at the auction. I believe there is a position sensor resynchronization procedure involved. Have you tried opening the sunroof and then holding the button down to close, then once closed hold the button down in closing position for something like 7-10 seconds? I think I got the condition to clear up after I did that and the closing of the sunroof became a one-touch operation. Certainly the dealer would know my way doesn't work.
