Another 82mm t/b install
Here, the factory PCV in intact and functional. Because there is no adapter plate, the airboxes align properly.
It took the ECU two days of light driving to adapt to the new t/b. You can see the LT fuel trims are within reason. BTW, I did the "Sneaky ECU reset" after the install but that didn't make a difference for me. If I was to do it again, I would have disconnected the battery before starting the r&r.
So far so good, no CEL. I'm showing 2.0% or 2.4% throttle position when fully warmed up.

Really nice install!

a clever welder can easily move the 2 bolting "ears" on the back of the TB to fit the inlet, or weld 2 new ears on the inlet ...

The upper bolt holes on the t/b only differ ~ 2mm from the 80mm inlet. I slightly elongated the holes in the t/b and the gasket to properly align them. For the bottom I had to add some metal to each side and one of the bolt holes needed to be filled because it was too close to the new thread location. This was the first prototype (in other words there is room for improvement). I didn't add as much material on the bottom right corner as I would have liked to.
One other thing, I had to machine a small channel at the top of the flange to clear part of the t/b.

I think all my problems were from not having a mb tb and just throwing a e55 tps sensor on a different tb.If you are seeing 2.0-2.4 fully warmed up and in drive at a stop light youre good to good bro.

Chasing the TB fix for almost a year!

Nothing like *****ty customer service!
Angelo, yes it is a MB t/b. You could always eliminate the PCV to bump up your throttle %. Would not be my first choice but it would basically be getting rid of a vacuum leak.
