Timmayfest BMW and MB 1/4 mile event- June 10th

I found the intercooler was leaking coolant into the intake. From the amount of dried coolant crud built up, everywhere, it looks like it has been leaking for a long time.

God bless Jeff at Mercedes Benz of Easton Parts Dept. I ordered a new intercooler yesterday and it is in right now. I'm going to leave work early and get it installed today.
If all goes well I should be able win the Denny's Import/Sport Compact class at the 2nd JEGS/T100 points race at National Trail Raceway tomorrow, then race with you guys on Friday. Wish me luck!

Heating is still an issue so the aftermarket intercooler has to be pulled out, and the stock intercooler put back in. The car will then hit the dyno again, in hopes of getting a full clean pull so the tuning can start

I'm gonna borrow your GoPro for a couple runs, like it or not. I'm gonna position it on my front fender, facing towards the other lane, back towards the starting line. It's gonna be nice to see what the front of an M5 looks like, from about 6 car lengths.

Just got home from the office, and started packing up the SL. I can fit exactly 1 pair of underwear, 1/2 of a toothbrush, some energy drinks, and 30 gallons of race fuel.

See you tomorrow.

Your welcome to join, just let me know so we can look out for ya...
Make sure you donate to The Make-A-Wish Foundation(r) to get plenty of raffle tickets when you arrive on Saturday. I have a TON of awesome raffle items. Last year, hardly anyone bought tickets, so the same people won a lot of prizes. Quite a few companies have offered up donation items at the last minute. Unfortunately for the MB crowd, most of the prizes are geared towards BMW's..... Sorry guys. I really did try to get some MB representation here. I will try harder next year......
Tickets will be given in this order of donations amounts:
1 - $1
6 - $5
12 - $10
